Jihadists unwittingly aid Red Chinese Nuclear World Conquest

Islamic supremacists at war with the world are threatening to send humanity into a hell we cannot imagine. The stage has been set. Western progressive countries have stopped growing and poverty-ridden societies are spreading rapidly. The only large militarily strong and economically growing society in the world today is the People’s Republic of China.

Stupidity, thy name is jihad
Self-centered jihadists seem to not realize that defeating the United States, most likely by bankrupting its economy or with a smuggled nuclear device, would be the worst thing they could possibly do to themselves. Without a United States to protect them, the jihadists would be fully exposed. A militant, totalitarian China would be the only superpower left in the world. It is inconceivable that China wouldn’t take great advantage of this position. For starters, poorly defended, oil-rich Arab countries would be easy prey for oil-hungry China. Small-time terror-funding sheiks wouldn’t even know what hit them.

China: Looking for "lebensraum"
Officially atheist China has quietly become an aggressive and belligerent country convinced of its own supremacy and centrality in the world. Suicidal Muslim psychotics pose little threat to a robust China. China has 1.3 billion people, or one fifth of the world’s population,—more than enough to conquer a fractured world. The Chinese rulers are as ruthless as Hitler—but with 20 times his population at hand. China has an aggressive eugenics program and now has one of the highest IQ averages in the world, as well as a large population of educated and indoctrinated citizens. Even suicidal jihadists are afraid of China, evidenced by how little they support beleaguered Muslim Uighurs in Western China. With such a large energetic population, it takes little imagination to see why China covets vast foreign territory and would halt at nothing to take it, given the chance.

Holocaust Redux
Still communist, Red China has revamped the “total war” concept, meaning nothing is off limits. The Geneva Conventions are but silly rules to China. Total liquidation of non-Chinese populations is not improbable from the Chinese government. With a world thrown in to chaos by crude Islamic fascists, combined with the killing power of today’s weapons, the world could be remade in China’s image very soon.
China is building its military at an unprecedented rate. Although China has said it is not averse to absorbing a nuclear retaliation, it is also working on technologies such as electromagnet- pulse bombs and nanotechnology that could knock out America’s last defense of nuclear weapons before they could even launch.
Once in command, the secretive technocrat Han-supremacists that rule China—far more efficient than Muslim supremacists—would not hesitate to rewrite world history and airbrush everyone but Hans out.

The example of Eisenhower
It must be stressed: stating that Red China is acting as a serious threat to the rest of humanity is in no way an indictment of Chinese culture and all its grandeur. No person of Chinese descent should feel threatened by the assertion that China is dangerous any more than General Eisenhower should have felt that loathing Nazis was directed at his German heritage. Obviously, he saw through such a false relation and so can every Chinese. Not incidentally, China would inevitably kill many “overseas Chinese,” including Westerners of Chinese heritage, by conquest using indiscriminate methods of destruction. Such a scenario parallels on a larger scale the deaths of Muslims killed by jihadists during “martyrdom operations.” For both jihadists and Chinese dictators, it’s all about conquest. The individual’s life matters not.
We can only hope that the saner jihadists will begin to recognize the futility of the bizarre hate triangle they have created between themselves, China and the West and curtail their operations, at least for another century.

Jihadists: World's number one evil
As the world’s leading free society, the United States has been targeted by the powers of the Arab/Muslim world for destruction. We can either ignore them and boil slowly like the frogs of Europe, ere long “Eurabia,” joining the Persians, Turks, Indonesians, Pakistanis and other peoples transmogrified by Arab imperialism, or we can fight them and survive, culture intact.
The West has pliantly pleaded with the Muslim community to show us that Islam is not a violent supremacist faith. We looked inward and asked if it is we who needed to change. At the very least, we waited for a sign of reform, to assure us that the many disturbing verses in the Koran petitioning violence against Jews, Christians and “pagans” were no longer to be taken literally. All along, Indian Hindus, Nigerian, Egyptian, Indonesian and Lebanese Christians, Thai Buddhists, and even secular Arabs, et al, snickered at our naiveté of Islam, knowing first hand the brutality of jihadism.
By and large, our pleas have been answered only by more bombs and hate speech. Osama bin Laden is still openly celebrated in many Muslim states, and others only pretend not to idolize him, especially when dealing with Westerners. Four years after 9/11 and still no major cleric has issued a fatwa against bin Laden. A rally of Muslims against terrorism in Washington DC drew only 50 people.
The vast majority of wars today are instigated by Muslims. It is not a stretch to say the world would be at peace but for Islam. While not all Muslims are terrorists, by far most terrorists are Muslim. Today, the world is threatened by nuclear annihilation and unspeakable suffering due to the tension created by Islam. We cannot afford to pretend that Islam is not what its most knowledgeable believers, the jihadists, say it is. We do not have the luxury of waiting hundreds of years to hope for reform. The Muslim “powers that be” have thrown down the gauntlet. Islam is what it is, and reforming it, strictly forbidden by Mohammad himself, would lead to a religion other than Islam—an impossibility for jihadists.

A War of Words
We have no choice but to speak candidly about Islam and its effects—a war of words, if you will. Truth will send Islamists writhing into convulsions and gnashing of teeth as they fight not only the rest of the world, but the millions of people ready to leave Islam but for the threat of death due to apostasy. Millions more “cultural Muslims” are beginning to see a wider world despite the brainwashing of the murderous mullahs. Via television and the Internet, they are seeing the rank hypocrisy and failure of virtually every Islamic state due to Islam’s inherent contradictions with modernity and tolerance. Islam may well be in its death spiral, and we must not let it take us with it.
To make it perfectly clear, this essay does not promote, indeed condemns, violence against Muslims. It is written in the same spirit that academia that has used to “deconstruct” Western culture by analyzing its roots. Please keep in mind the harsh condemnation of Western culture by many university academics before listening to fearful administrators who may censor any genuine criticism of Islam.

Islam is a choice
Islam is a religion, not a race or ethnic group. In the later two, membership is generally mandatory, whereas with religion, a person theoretically chooses to practice one or not. It is because of this difference that many people view Islamic terror as less “evil” than racist terror, although this makes little difference to a person soon to be beheaded. It is also for this reason that criticism of Islam is even more valid than much leftist criticism of Western culture, which often degenerates into ethnic slurs and blood libel. Regardless, despite its flaws Western culture has played leading roles in human rights, influenced by its progressive heritage of science and philosophy.
That said, Islam nevertheless straddles the boundary between Arabic ethnicity and faith, crossing into racism. Arabs enslaved millions of Africans, putting a strong emphasis on color. Indeed, the word "abed" in Arabic means both black and slave. Apologists note that Arab slavery wasn’t as strictly racial as American slavery. Yes, but neither was Spanish slavery. This may be due to the less pronounced color line and longer exposure to African culture than for any “anti-racist” reason. Several hadith and sura in fact demean dark skin, and the much ballyhooed universalism and equality expressed in some early passages of the Koran is superseded, clerics say, by later passages. These often consist of death threats to non-Muslims, due apparently to Mohammad becoming frustrated with trying to convince local Jews and Christians of his greatness. Additionally, Arab slavery was more brutal than European slavery. First generation "pagan" death rates were astonishingly high, although Arab/slave offspring were somewhat better off due to their Muslim status. Castration was legal, and the slave era lasted far longer, without a native abolition movement ever developing. The Arab slave trade did not end officially until world pressure ended it just a few decades ago, although it still persists in places like Sudan, location of two million Christians and animists murdered by jihadist in the last twenty years.

Muslims: the real colonialists
Many in the self-critical media, as well as many faint-hearted politicians, bemoan phantom Western intolerance while they chase the unicorn of “true” Islam. These paragons of tolerance are the first to intolerantly libel Western culture for creating the jihadists, via some conspiracy of connections related to colonialism. Such Westerners patronize jihadists as simple reactionaries incapable of critical thought much less systematic evil, not the reality of highly educated jihadists like Muhammad Atta, et al. Tellingly, the “colonialism” strawman argument never includes mention of the millions of Muslims who have immigrated to the West, while virtually no (traditional) Westerners move to Muslim countries. Many countries grant citizenship only to Muslims. Who then are the real colonists?
The West has been engaged in a power struggle of its own between various socialisms such as communism and nazism, and traditional democratic capitalism. This helps explain the seeming inability of the West to properly unite against the jihadists. Even more utterly alien to jihadists in beliefs than the right, the left nonetheless has embraced some aspects of jihad ideology, especially the “anti-colonial” aspect. Jihadists have been gracious enough to exploit these “useful idiots” for their own gain.
It’s true that aside from the truly deranged jihadist, most Muslims are of moderate temperament and simply want to pass through life with a moderate degree of comfort. Unfortunately, this is of little consequence to the rest of us, as the exact same could be said of Germans under the Nazis. Perhaps the Nazis could have sailed under the radar and established their “Nordic” pagan state were it not for Hitler’s megalomania. Islam has sailed under the radar for 1300 years, forcefully converting, butchering or enslaving millions before there was a comprehensive media to document its atrocities properly. Even the United States had an early experience with jihadism, still noted in the Marine Corp Hymn in the lyrics “the shores of Tripoli,” alluding to when Marines rescued kidnapped sailors from Arab pashas who demanded that American “infidels” pay tribute before passing through the Mediterranean Sea.

Jihadists: Unveiled evil
All that being said, it is now time to ignore the appeasers and tell the truth. The emperor has no clothes. Islam is not a religion of peace. Islamic terrorists are terrorizing every region on earth, and have done so for centuries. There are no common root causes for their behavior except the Islam itself. The current worldwide state of terror was started by jihadists, the Muslim version of missionaries, who would as soon kill as convert for Islam.
The menace of Islam threatens billions of people and keeps a billion more as hostages, unable to convert out of this belligerent ideology because of the death threats placed upon so-called apostates. Americans are losing our civil liberties and privacy and being subjected to physical indignities and delays because of Islam. There is no other reason. Even the much maligned Patriot Act came as a result of Islam’s assault on us. Ironically, many cultural Muslims seem to fear an Islamic state as much as anyone. For instance, when Israel offered to trade some land with the Palestinian Authority, the Muslim Israelis living there were among the loudest against the idea, fearing the day of living in an Islamic state ruled by Hamas.
Jihadists speak of non-Muslims as “kufr,” not worthy of human dignity. The superiority that Muslims feel over non-Muslims is identical, neurologically speaking, to the way Hitler’s willing executioners felt toward non-Germans.
The early Nazi party attracted the “misfits” of society—brutes, dorks, neurotics, the sexually confused, paranoids, demonics, and the delusional. Both bullies and wimps found that being a Nazi gave them power in economically strapped Germany. And so it is with Islam, only far more successful. The Mafia-like mullahs, strong-arm leaders, and assorted demagogues together with the typically wimpy, sexually confused suicide terrorist all find common ground in Islam. It is a way for them to exercise power over others, usually cultural Muslims and especially females, while saving the worst for “infidels.” As jihadist Mohammed Bouyeri, convicted murderer of Dutch director Theo Van Gogh told the mother of Van Gogh in court: "I cannot feel for you ... because I believe you are an infidel."

Prison: Criminals find affirmation in Allah
Likewise, while religion has always attracted people in prison, it has usually been as a route to finding peace with their inner demons and society as a whole. Not so in Islam, where criminals find a ready excuse to continue to hate and lash out at society, now reduced to “infidel” status in their newly religious minds. Jihadists in non-Muslim countries have developed a unique mix of religion, crime and terrorism. For instance, all the jihadists linked to the Madrid train bombings were also petty criminals involved in the local drug trade. Recruiting hardcore criminals will assure that the inherent violence in Islam continues to express itself. At the mere hint of backlash, Muslims craving validity will continue to appeal to gullible Western liberals and leftists with cries of “stereotype.” Their inverted sense of victimhood strikes similar tones in Nazi Germany, where banners demanded, “Beware of the Jewish warmonger.” One wonders if Islam is a similar case of group psychosis, with dashes of angst, delusions of grandeur and paranoia, all simply looking for a scapegoat to attack.

Islam as Arab supremacism
Earlier, it was stated that many peoples have suffered under Arab imperialism. This is not a misuse of Arab for Muslim. Stated simply, Islam is an Arab supremacist ideology. Arabic is the language of God, said Muhammad. He claimed that Arab customs are superior to others. Arab law, or sharia, is superior. Arab economics is superior. Arab esthetics and art are superior. Arab marriage is superior. Arab dress is superior. Arab hygiene is superior. Arab monotheism is superior. Arab eating practices are superior. In short, Arabs are superior. Yes, not all Arabs are Muslim. Christian Arabs predate Islam by hundreds of years, for instance. But Arab Muslims view them as fossils slated for conversion, death, or temporary source revenue through jizyah—an extra tax placed on non-Muslims, called “dhimmis,” in Islamic society. Arab Muslims in Palestine even have an expression for what’s waiting for their Christian brethren, as well as Jews: “First the Saturday people, than the Sunday people.”

Seek and Destroy: Jihadists and non-Muslim cultures
Feelings of superiority are hardly unique to Arabs. But as genocidal imperialists, Arabs have gone beyond personal opinion, and forced their culture on much of humanity. Millions of non-Arabs have had their cultures eradicated by jihadist conquerors over the ages. Most of these non-Arabs are so thoroughly Arabized that that they don’t even realize what is gone, or care. Across conquered land are defaced statues, in keeping with Mohammed’s esthetics. A shocking example of this occurred only recently—the total destruction by the Taliban of the ancient massive statue of Buddha in Bamiyan, Afghanistan, completing the work previous Muslims had begun.
Muslims may immediately respond that Europeans did much the same. The Crusades and the age of colonialism are obvious examples. Yet the Crusades, besides being 800 years ago—an absurdly long time in the past to argue over essentially medieval war crimes—were actually in principal an attempt to reclaim Christian holy centers lost to jihadist conquests. Jerusalem is not even mentioned in the Koran, but is in the center of events in the Bible. The Crusades often degenerated into treasure hunting by European mercenaries hardly familiar with their own faith. Atrocities were committed by all sides, yet the Crusader’s basic desire to live contrasts starkly with today’s jihadist, well-schooled in Koran, whose basic desire is to die in “martyrdom operations.” Chief Palestinian Authority cleric Mufti Sheikh Ikrimeh Sabri stated such: "We tell them, in as much as you love life, the Muslim loves death and martyrdom." The love of death is a common theme of Muslim clerics and stems directly from the Battle of Qadisiyya in the year 636, when the Persians were told the same by Arab invaders.

The truth about colonialism
Colonialism was also not the result of religion, but of economics and advancements in technology. The effects of colonialism are a mixed bag that included atrocities, but bringing advanced technology to less developed cultures was virtually inevitable. Only a dunce would expect that hunter gatherer, or even medieval, cultures could go on as they had done for eons while energetic, advanced trading civilizations carefully avoided them. The better aspects of colonialism carefully recorded the histories and languages of many of these cultures for the first time in history. Some colonial powers faster than others recognized the distinctiveness of non-Western people and helped them preserve their customs. Christianity was imposed on some people, while on other people—Muslims and Hindus especially—it was not. The Victorian British in fact paid for the renovation of the Taj Mahal in India, a Muslim mausoleum, for instance. But even where Christianity was imposed, it was more a matter of politics, not a “jihad,” and was done a magnitude or two less violently than jihadists are called to do. Finally, in all modern predominately Christian countries, faith is a matter of choice, as is implied by the word faith. One can freely leave Christianity and become a Buddhist, for example. As well, aside from a belief in the Christ, Christians are free to retain their native customs. Not so in Islamic countries, where a death sentence, official in some states, de facto in others, awaits a Muslim who proclaims allegiance to another religion, and the adoption of Arab customs is de rigor for Muslims.

Muslim choice: Death or submission
A Muslim asks, didn’t Christianity, mentioned here because of its predominant position in the West, spread by conversion, often by coercion? Yes, and so did Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism and nearly every religion at one point or another over the long passage of time. This is a sometime human trait that is not an essential component of those faiths, unlike Islam, which explicitly demands jihadists wage violent campaigns against “infidels” in lands outside Islam they even refer to as Dar al Harb—House of War.

Islam: Putting the total in totalitarianism
Another stark difference is that Islam goes far beyond the merely spiritual, and into the political and cultural. Indeed, Islam explicitly invades nearly every aspect of living, down to how one should sleep. The Muslim supremacist mindset completely denigrates the traditions of other cultures. Disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, archeology and history outside of Islam are seen as pointless endeavors; hence so little work comes from Muslims in these fields. What little there is, tends to be about Muslims. This attitude affects other fields as well, resulting in such realities as tiny Israel printing far more book titles than the entire Arab world, and India soaring past Pakistan in productivity.

Islam's idea of multiculturalism
Cultures that conflict with Islam are always at risk. Latin and African dance, German Oktoberfest, American Indian spiritualism, Chinese ancestor veneration— all would end under an Islamic state. It is not an exaggeration to say that the devote Muslim is a simply an automaton to put Mohammad’s teaching into motion. Even the much mentioned “Islamic Golden Age” is much ado about nothing; a construct of “the other,” created by Western leftists to disparage their own culture rather than genuinely promote Islam. Its description usually includes a gratuitous reference of Europe being “illiterate” at the time, neglecting to mention that it was the Dark Ages, after all, as though Greece and Rome never existed. Why much ado about nothing? For various reasons, some Muslim rulers are more rigid than others. Stalin was bloodier than Brezhnev, as well. In truth, the age was simply a time shortly after Muslim conquest when Christians and Jews were still an indispensable component of the cultures they created. Pragmatic Muslim rulers recognized this, so chose to tax them as dhimmis and channel their much-needed talent rather than force immediate conversion or exile. Muslim rulers viewed these older monotheists as slightly above pagans, the later of whom demanded immediate death or conversion. Think Hitler’s attitude to Slavs compared to Jews, and one gets the picture. As the previous cultures wore down under Islamic governance, their civilizational competencies dissolved. Even nominal Muslims who flourished in the dhimmi culture of creativity disappeared when Islam finally succeeded in dominating the mind of citizens as well as the body.

Muslim "tolerance"
Arab states vary from marginally tolerant, like Kuwait, which allows non-Muslim foreigners to worship in certain areas, to the obsessively intolerant, like Saudi Arabia, which confiscates cross necklaces and Bibles at its airports and destroys them. Both countries require all citizens to be Muslim. Other states with ancient Christian populations, like Syria and Egypt, keep tightening the screws, so their non-Muslim population is in continual decline, due to emigration and coerced conversion. Under the Taliban, the few Hindus in Afghanistan were forced to wear distinct symbols to set them apart, reminiscent of Jews forced to wear stars of David in Nazi Germany. So too were Jews in Yemen, who were also made to walk in the gutter when passing a Muslim. It should be of no surprise than that nearly all Yemeni Jews immigrated to Israel upon its creation.

Muslim Nazis: not just a metaphore
Throughout this essay, jihadists have been compared to Nazis. Incredibly, this is not merely metaphor, accurate though it may be. Solid links between the two were established during the rise of fascism, most notable being the uncle and mentor of no less than Yasser Arafat, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini. Huseini lived in Berlin throughout the war, personally petitioning Hitler, broadcasting to Germans to kill Jews rather than freeing them to immigrate to then Palestine, and recruiting Albanian Muslims into the SS. The Baathist parties of Iraq and Syria were also heavily fashioned on fascist principals brought from Germany. According to Hitler’s chief architect and confidant, Albert Speer, Hitler regretted that Germans had adopted the “meek” principals of Christianity, rather than the warrior ethos of Islam. Maybe mere idle talk on Hitler’s part, but telling nonetheless.

Jihadist hate: not just for Westerners
Most Westerners are confused by the contradictions in Islam. Several decades of self-critical literature in the West blaming the world’s ills on capitalism, colonialism and racism have created a population too quick to look internally to explain jihadism. Many secular Westerners cannot accept that a person can be motivated by any religion to blow themselves up on a crowded bus. They refuse to accept that jihadism is a centuries old worldwide phenomenon. But Muslims today are attacking regions as diverse as Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Kenya and Nigeria where there is not a Westerner around. Fear of being called intolerant keeps many Westerners silent. Others fall silent because of jihadist intimidation. Sometimes silence does not mean no news, but rather, very bad news. For instance, in Juarez, Mexico, no drug trade stories are printed in the newspaper anymore since several reporters were gunned down after writing them. There seems a similar silence in regard to Islam. In fact, this paper is submitted anonymously, due to the very real possibility of death threats, like the fatwa that hangs over author Salmon Rushdie. Some Westerners are willing to openly criticize Wahhabism, the Islam of official Saudi Arabia that bin Laden also follows, but are loath to critically analyze Islam itself. But how is criticizing the sect of millions of followers who are directly descended from the first Muslims and who still control Mecca being more tolerant than criticizing Islam itself? In reality, such critics are only less intimidated, as opposed to more principled; hence they feel freer expressing their true opinion. Finally, secular Westerners steeped in socialism have developed such an irrational contempt for their own conservative Christians—and really all Christians—that one of their first reactions to 9/11 was to morally equate the likes of Pat Robertson to Osama bin Laden.

Traditional Islam: Lying for jihad
Compounding Western confusion, Islam has a custom of lying to “infidels” to advance jihad. It even has a name, al taqiyah. After so many years of these lies, it should be clear that when a knowledgeable Muslim says Islam does not support violent jihad, or that Islam is simply about peace and love, he or she is telling a boldfaced lie. Besides outright lying, many Muslims seem in denial about the Koran and supporting hadith and sunnah. Most cultural Muslims seem unaware of Muhammad’s penchant for violence, including beheadings that now inspire terrorists in Iraq, his misogyny, his dishonesty, and his bizarre sexual attitudes and conduct. Many Muslims grow embarrassed and angry when pointing these things out, as such facts can be inconvenient things.

Jihadists in the West: Not looking for freedom
Although it is probable that many average Muslims enjoy the freedoms in America, most mosques here are in fact funded by Saudi Arabia, and the message they push is clear: Muslims are here to hurt us or convert us. Saudi-funded mosques are little more than foreign military installations placed on American soil without the blessings of Americans. Only an idiot thinks that a bearded cleric with his shrouded wives and ten children living in New Jersey is here to enjoy religious freedom.

Fighting jihad: time to get a backbone
A large majority of the world is not Muslim. Even most Muslims are not raving lunatics and many are genuinely bewildered as to why so many twisted people commit terror in the name of Islam. Once we truly realize this, we can easily act decisively against the jihad terrorists. Point number one is that Islam is not immune to criticism in a society based on freedom of speech.
Americans have done an admirable job of showing restraint toward Muslims after 9/11. In India, such restraint would be unimaginable from Hindus after centuries of repeated attacks by Muslims. We can only hope our restraint is based in strength, and not in the cult of political correctness now permeating much of the West. Our strength will be our key to survival. While deconstructing Islam in essays is a matter of freedom of speech, the right to chose one’s faith is a matter of freedom of religion.

Freedom of conversion: A post-Muslim sanctuary
One of the many ironies of jihadists in the West is how they have taken advantage of the tolerance that they would deny others. Yet many cultural Muslims would prefer to be recovering Muslims, or post-Muslims. A support structure for post-Muslims needs to be established to provide sanctuary from the death threats for apostasy feared by many trapped Muslims. Freedom of conversion legislation should be passed to reinforce that it is a crime to threaten someone converting to another religion. Such legislation should also be pushed in the United Nations as a human right.

No more asymetric immigration
Muslims found preaching or practicing violent jihad should risk immediate expulsion, revoked citizenship, and/or jail if an actual crime is committed. All further Saudi funding of mosques in the United States should end. Muslim institutions and governments must issue an apologies for the depredations of Islam similar to apologies for human rights violations issued by Western governments and the Catholic Church. As long as jihadists seriously threaten the United States, there should be a stop to immigration from Muslim countries. Any further immigration after hostilities end should be symmetric, meaning that Muslim countries have to accept an equal number of non-Muslim immigrants into their countries, granting them full citizenship. This is required because through asymmetric immigration, Islamization would still occur at the expense of non-Muslims. This is unacceptable. Muslim nations cannot expect to be “pure” while simultaneously demanding access to non-Muslim countries.

Academia wakeup call
Academics, or anyone else, should be able to write critically about Islam, as they have about Christianity and Western culture, without fear of retribution by either jihadists or their own university administrations.
Islam itself must be contained until it has reformed, if reform is even possible. It is obvious that Islam is more than a religion, it is an ideology. Where other religions are content to give spiritual guidance, Islam makes exacting demands. The Taliban government was one of the purest attempts at instituting Islamic principals. To the jihadists, democracy is viewed as man’s attempt to replace God’s law. By definition, a jihadist uses violence to undermine democratic society; hence, democracies have the right to act, as they did with communism. The semantic differences between religion, ideology and philosophy cannot be tripping points to rational self defense. Persistent violent jihadism should be met with overwhelming force.

A post-Islamic world
Jihadists have bet everything on violence. Should they lose and Islam collapse, Arabs may find themselves in a state similar to the disillusionment of Russians when communism collapsed. Arabs would do well to recognize that Arab culture predates Islam. Just as Germans did not need to abandon traditional German culture when Nazism fell, Arabs can still retain the vibrant traditions of Arabia if Islam were to collapse in disrepute—a possibility after 9/11, and a surety if jihadists were to trigger a nuclear weapon in the West. On the other hand, Non-Arab post-Muslims, long denigrated as second-class Arabs, may well, like the Soviet satellite republics, experience a post-Muslim renaissance.
Under today’s Islam, even the most liberal Muslim state like Turkey is for non-Muslims merely like the difference Jim Crow was to slavery for an African American. In the future, without a strong “West” to pressure for tolerance, even this minimal tolerance is unlikely. Then again, without a strong West, it is unlikely Islam itself would survive a strong (Far) “East.”

Words matter
It is folly to think words do not have meaning, as some Islamic apologists would have us think. A radical Jain, for instance, does not become more violent, but less so, according to dictates of Jainism. The Koran is a violent book. Muslims have to find ways to minimize this penchant for violence. It is questionable whether they can do this, even if many are so inclined. That leads us to whether it is worth it. Practically speaking, does Islam provide a good template for societies? Muslim states seem to be of two types: rich, authoritarian and discontent, or poor, authoritarian and discontent. The “rich” part of some states is wholly explained by the accidental fortune of being located on land floating on an ocean of oil.
Aside from whether Islam is practical, the Koran itself is rift with contradictions of earlier biblical texts. It takes a true believer to explain that Muhammad was actually correcting the earlier texts, and the proof is the Koran itself. Such circular logic makes it nearly impossible to reason with such people.

Is Islam truly monotheistic?
But logic has not played a strong role in Islam. Although monotheistic, Muhammad is elevated to all but the status of God, beyond criticism and even portrait. Muslims insist he was the perfect man, yet his actions contradict even the most basic respect for modern human rights. Muslims say they are the most rigorous of monotheists but believe in angels, fairies (jinns), and heavenly virgins, called houriis. What are these but inferior gods to Allah, since they are neither man nor animal? Logically, they are hardly different than the hierarchy of gods worshipped by the ancient Greek polytheists, who ultimately deferred to Zeus, or Hindus today who call Brahman, the Supreme One, their highest god. Muslim Monotheism is thus reduced to semantics.

Mohammad: does humanity need a violent role model?
It is already well known that humans often are inclined towards violence if not for some restraint, such as a role model. Logically, that model would be peaceful—and not simply with his followers—yet would remain strong. Certainly Jesus and Buddha were both. As nearer examples, Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. showed us the peaceful power of Hindu and Christian principals, respectively. In Judaism, biblical characters were often punished or rewarded according to their moral behavior. The wealth of great Jewish minds in science and the humanities is testament to Judaism’s utility. In Contrast, Muhammad seems to be the very antithesis of this logic, inspiring violence even beyond man’s inherent natural capacity. Thus, even oil-rich, monocultural Arab nations are riddled with systemic violence in the name of Islam. In the end, it is difficult to not view Islam as redundant to Judaism and Christianity when at its best, and a violent, hysterical, supremacist ideology when at its most unique.
Apologists of course consider the preceding as an ignorant view of Islam, as though only lifelong scholars, who by Islamic definition are believers or they would be apostates, can opine on Islam. But religions are not science; they are meant for all. An informed lay person can express a valid opinion on religion, especially one that is threatening his or her life, as well as any power-hungry mullah can. Indeed, probably even more so.

The decadence of Islam
It appears that Islam is in fact a decadent religion
. The decadence here is not synonymous with hedonism, but rather, of violent parasitism. Even the accidental wealth from massive oil deposits cannot buy Arabs the values needed to sustain a competent culture. The thought-stifling dogma of the Koran, the practical impositions of sharia law, and the enslavement of women all add up to a culture that is at once both arrogant and incompetent at satisfying its needs without resorting to violence towards others. It requires the continual conquest and subordination of other cultures to feed its supremacist appetite. Once those cultures are drained and indoctrinated, it looks for new hosts. It has been a continual pattern for 1300 years. Muslim lands are drained of new ideas today, so it is again on the hunt. The West happens to be in its own sort of paralysis currently, so it may be easy prey. But we are in an age of instant mass-death through weapons of mass destruction.

Jihadists have no hope against China
Red China is the hegemonic gorilla that even suicidal Muslims fear, if only subconsciously, because of its power and equal unconcern for individual lives. China has the will to wipe every non-Han Chinese person off the globe, and Muslims are unwittingly acting as the catalyst. Muslims have no hope against Chinese manufacturing. Muslims cannot walk around freely in Beijing as they do in London. They cannot manipulate principals of human rights or freedom of the press, because those don’t exist in China. Without a West to defend them, Muslims will have met not only their Waterloo with China, but their Auschwitz.

An immense tragedy nears
Jihadists are a menace to all cultures, not just the “West.” There is a story of the person who saw that Nazis only came for others, so he did nothing. Then one day they came for him, but it was too late to act. Let’s not act too late. Let’s not let Islam destroy our lives and the lives of generations yet born. It is an immense tragedy for humankind that we are precariously close to disaster at the precise moment in history that we are so close to the possibility of genuinely ending world suffering through communication and constructive technology. China itself, sans its ideological aspects, is an early miracle of this possibility. Many problems currently afflicting the world are now solvable. Through biotechnology, we can end disease and hunger, and increase intelligence and well-being. Through the Internet, modern databases, and distance learning, we can extend education to all. Through democracy, law and a creative use of these exciting technologies humanity can finally live up to its potential. We can all get there together, peacefully and contently, if only…
